The BK fan kit is designed to fit a number of fireplaces, including models from Desa Tech, FMI, Vanguard, Vexar, Comfort Flame and Comfort Glow. The blower kit comes fully assembled & pre-wired and includes all of the components you'll need to successfully install a blower into your fireplace for the first time. Because the BK kit does NOT include a thermostat on/off switch, you must have a wall switch that has been designated to control the electrical outlet below your fireplace.

If a wall switch for this outlet is not present, using the BKT blower kit is required. The BKT blower kit includes a thermostat which can be used to control the blower's on/off operation automatically. Ball bearings motors last longer and operate more efficiently than their sleeve bearing counterparts. Additionally, we also use a ball bearing outboard bearing. The outboard bearing is the red cap you see opposite the motor. Our use of ball bearing outboard bearings reduce shaft end play and provide a much smoother, more quiet and longer lasting blower assembly.
