Product Details - AUB Ascent Universal Blower Kit. The AUB fan kit is designed to be used with the Napoleon Ascent Series fireplaces, but can certainly be used as a universal blower kit across numerous applications. The blower kit includes all of the components you'll need to successfully install a blower into your fireplace for the first time. The AUB blower mounts universally with the supplied Velcro strips and double-sided tape. The AUB is also a great substitute for more the more expensive OEM kit available from Napoleon.

The AUB kit includes both a rheostat variable speed control and a thermostat on/off switch. The kit comes fully assembled and pre-wired, which makes installation much easier. Unlike most our competitors who use inferior sleeve bearing motors, our AUB kit uses a much higher quality ball bearing motor. Ball bearing motors last longer and operate more efficiently than their sleeve bearing counterparts. Additionally, we also use a ball bearing outboard bearing.

The outboard bearing is the red cap you see opposite the motor. Our use of ball bearing outboard bearings reduce shaft end play and provide a much smoother, more quiet and longer lasting blower assembly. Don't be fooled by our competitor's cheaper prices and ball bearing claims.
