GZ550 GZ550-1KT Fireplace Blower Kit. The GZ550 fan kit is designed to fit a number of fireplaces, including many models from Continental and Napoleon. The blower kit comes fully assembled & pre-wired and includes all of the components you'll need to successfully install a blower into your fireplace for the first time. The GZ550 mounts easily using the supplied bracket. Noise reduction padding is also included to help eliminate vibration and reduce noise.

The GZ550 is designed using a thermostatic on/off switch, which will automatically turn the blower on and off at set temperatures. Because of this feature, the GZ550 kit can be used with or without a designated wall switch for the electrical outlet below your fireplace. The kit also comes standard with a rheostat variable speed control that allows the user to control the RPM speed of the blower. This allows you to control not only air flow, but the noise of the blower as well. Unlike most of our competitors who use inferior sleeve bearing motors, our GZ550 kit uses a much higher quality and longer lasting ball bearing motor. Ball bearings motors last longer and operate more efficiently than their sleeve bearing counterparts. Additionally, we also use a ball bearing outboard bearing. The outboard bearing is the red cap you see opposite the motor. Our use of ball bearing outboard bearings reduce shaft end play and provide a much smoother, more quiet and longer lasting blower assembly. Don't be fooled by our competitor's cheaper prices and ball bearing claims. Additionally, we use galvanized mounting brackets to prevent rusting.
