There is no need to refurbish. All the seals are like brand new. We have had a chimney beehive issue no one wanted to touch which caused us to not use it for a few years. It comes with a built in heat sheild, ash pan, heat control lever clean glass window, interior insulated black stove pipe. We have all the booklets and bill of sale.
